My name is Miguel Munoz, and I am a painter based in Wisconsin, working in watercolor and oil.

Before moving to the Midwest in 2021, I spent my life in Spain—an experience that continues to shape my sense of light, color, and atmosphere. My work brings together these influences, exploring both European and American landscapes through a quiet, observational lens.

My paintings focus on moments that often go unnoticed: light shifting across water, a figure passing through a landscape, the stillness of a place at dusk. Rather than capturing every detail, I build each piece around mood, composition, and the feeling of being there.

Working with a limited palette, I create paintings meant to be lived with—pieces that reveal themselves slowly over time.
